In 1 Timothy 2 – “God
our Savior…desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the
truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and
men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all…”
In John 3 - “And
as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man
be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal
life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God
did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world
through Him might be saved.”
In 1 John 4 – “In this is
love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the
propitiation for our sins.”
In 1 John 2 – “And He
Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for
the whole world.”
In 2 Peter 3 – “The Lord is
not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering
toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to
repentance.”
Have you trusted in Christ as your
Savior? God is inviting you to receive his gift of salvation. When Jesus died on the cross, He was paying the death penalty for your sins. Trust in Jesus and His sacrifice for your sins. Call on God to forgive you and save you; He will not turn you away. Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
